Devlin’s fingers entered my core, pumping in and out, as he continued to land the flogger across my backside. The burn of the impacts, coupled with the sensation of his fingers, brought my body pulsating and alive again. I felt the familiar tightening of my muscles, my abdomen pulling inward as I gripped the chains on the bed, rushing closer to the edge of another orgasm.

  “Do not come, pumpkin.”

What the hell? He’s got to be fucking kidding me!

Devlin’s fingers continued to fuck my pussy as his thumb ran circles on my clit. The flogger continued to land on my ass, lighter, though, than before. As I neared the edge again, Devlin pulled his fingers out of me, and repositioned himself. I let out a groan of frustration as I heard the familiar tear of the foil packet. I listened as he unzipped his pants, and felt the bed shift again. Devlin lined himself up with my opening, and with one thrust, filled me to the hilt. The sudden impalement almost caused me to come, and the excessive fullness I now felt from him and the plug was unlike anything I’d felt before. I didn’t know if I could take him and the plug for much longer. Every nerve in my body was excited and charged. The brief feel of his fingers digging into my hips was replaced by his cock moving slowly in and out of my hot core.

“Oh, pumpkin, you feel divine.” That rich, Irish accent resonated through my ears, as he continued to pull out and push slowly back in, heightening the feel of the plug. Devlin pulled almost out, and then twisted the plug as he thrust back into me, causing me to grip the chains as I yelled out again.

“Sir…” I moaned as he picked up his speed, pulling my hips toward him. Fully sheathed within my pussy, Devlin moved his hands back up to my breasts, pulling and rolling my nipples between his fingers. The sensations hit my pussy immediately; moaning, I let out a deep breath.

“Don’t come yet, pumpkin. I still have not given you permission.” His hands grabbed the mounds, and he pulled out, thrusting back in hard.

“Please, sir, I need to come,” I begged. The inevitable was going to happen, and if I didn’t get permission first, the punishment would be more severe than not coming.

“Not yet, Ally.” Devlin began moving in and out again, maintaining a steady speed - one that was driving every nerve insane with need. Devlin gripped my hips again, and sped up his thrusts.

“Please sir, I’m not going to last,” I pleaded again. It was the truth; I wasn’t going to last much longer.

“Come with me, Ally.” The words echoed in my ears as I finally relaxed and allowed another orgasm to crash through my body. I heard Devlin grunt as he released his seed into me. Stilling, Devlin ran his finger down my spine as he pulled out of me.

“Relax your ass. I’m going to remove the plug.” He turned the plug and pulled it gently. I felt the thickness retreat, burning the tight muscles as he pulled it out. As soon as it was removed, I collapsed on my stomach, arms still restrained to the bed, blindfold still on. The night had been amazing. The sensations and feelings had been heightened without my sense of sight. Devlin moved off the bed, and I heard his footsteps as he headed toward the bathroom. Returning, he un-cuffed my wrists, then sat next to me on the bed, pulling me up into his side. He removed the blindfold, and ran the pad of his thumb over my cheek.

“You are so beautiful.” Devlin lowered his head and pulled me closer, kissing my lips with a tenderness that I hadn’t expected.

“Thank you, sir. Tonight was amazing.” I kissed him again before snuggling into his side, as he rubbed his hand up and down my arm.

“What do you say we get dressed and grab some food?”

I nodded, but looked at the clock. It was just after eleven. “What is open this late?”

“A little diner on the outskirts of the city. Open twenty four hours.” Devlin placed a quick kiss on my forehead, then stood up from the bed. I lazily stood from the bed, too, and walked over to the chair that I had placed my clothes on and got dressed. It was April in Boston: I was a little pissed at myself for not grabbing a sweater.

“You okay?” Devlin asked, returning from the master bedroom.

“Yeah. Just forgot a sweater.” I shrugged my shoulders and smirked.

“Let me grab you a sweatshirt.” He left the room and returned a moment later with an oversized Bruins sweatshirt. “Here you go.”

“Thank you, Devlin.” I took the article and quickly threw it over my head. It smelled like him, and the scent filled my nostrils, sending small sensations to my core.

  “Gorgeous. Let’s go.”

I nodded, and we walked out to the foyer. Grabbing his keys, we left the apartment and took the elevator to the parking garage. He hadn’t said much to me, and I wondered if something was bothering him. I grabbed his hand and laced our fingers together; looking up, I saw him smile a little, and he lightly squeezed my hand. We reached the garage, and Devlin ushered me to his Tahoe, kissing me again before I jumped in. Something about his sensitivity tonight was bothering me. Devlin was sensitive, but only slightly. He wore his dominance at all times, almost a face of emotionlessness. Very rigid and business like - from his time in the military I assume. The subtle changes in his attitude tonight worried me, but I knew he would let me know if there was something I needed to worry about. Wouldn’t he?

“You okay?” I asked as we pulled out of the garage.

“I’m fine. Why?” he responded, taking my hand and lacing our fingers again.

“You seem off tonight. I mean, not during the scene, but now. You just seem…I don’t know, off.” I looked at him, and watched as he took a long breath in and quickly glanced at me.

“I’m fine. Long day at work. Nothing to worry about.” He returned his attention to the road and navigated us out of the city.

We arrived at the diner about twenty minutes later. Devlin was right, it was a tiny establishment, and the aroma of the food as I stepped out of the Tahoe reminded me how much of an appetite I had worked up. Devlin was wearing a pair of blue jeans that rode low on his waist, and a tight fitting tee shirt with a zip up sweatshirt over it. Not his typical dress, but it was a nice change from seeing him in his black outfits; black cargo pants and black tee when at work, and black leather pants and black tee and/or black leather vest when he was at the club.

Devlin led me to a booth in the back corner of the diner, grabbing two menus from the counter on our way.

“Come here often?” I asked as I slid into the booth.

“More than I want to.” The answer was laced with mystery. Part of me wanted to pursue it, but the other part of me knew better. Devlin and I had only been seeing each other, on and off, for about six months, but there were things about Devlin that anybody could pick up on quickly.

“So, what’s good here?” I searched the menu hoping to find some kind of comfort food that sounded good.

“Just about everything. I’m a big fan of their pancakes.”

I let out a chuckle. “You like pancakes? I didn’t think you Irish enjoyed anything else besides meat and potatoes.”

“Alas, you have learned something now. Even though I do enjoy the traditional fare of my heritage, I also love the taste of buttermilk goodness.” He winked at me as he motioned for the waitress.

“Good evening, darling. How have you been?” The bubbly young woman approached us, basically shoving herself at Devlin. I looked her up and down before turning my head to Devlin.

  “Darling?”

“Ally, meet Emily. Emily, meet my girlfriend, Ally.” As Devlin introduced us, my heart stopped. Girlfriend? OMG!

The girl turned to me, plastered with a fake smile. “Hi.” Turning back to Devlin, she continued, “What can I get you? Want your usual?”

“That will be fine. Ally?” Devlin turned his attention back to me.

“I’ll have a coffee and pancakes, please.” I was still stunned at the girlfriend comment. The girl nodded and walked off. I raised my eyes to Devlin’s level. “Girlfriend?”

  “I needed her to
back off, but I guess we should talk about where our relationship stands.”

“I guess we should. So, you didn’t mean that? The girlfriend comment?” I waited for his answer, praying that I would be more to him now than just a submissive. I mean, ever since Emma’s incident, and even before that, I had to check in with him when I went out, or was running late. We hadn’t even been seeing each other two weeks before Emma’s run in with her asshole ex at the dance club. But, with his extended silence, I was unsure that I meant anything more than a submissive to him - something I didn’t even know I wanted until a little over a month ago.

“Of course I meant it, Alexia.”

Alexia. He never calls me by my real name; hell, no one calls me by my real name. Devlin usually called me Ally when we were in public, or pumpkin when in private.

“Then what is there to discuss? If you meant girlfriend, I think I can handle that. It isn’t as if we have been seeing others since we started seeing each other.” It was true. When he wasn’t at work and I wasn’t at work or school, we were together. It wasn’t much over the last six months, but it was enough for us. Devlin’s job kept him busy, and when he wasn’t working, he was usually at one of the clubs, doing security. I had my internship with the District Attorney’s office, and classes, not to mention filling in at the bakery when I could.

“Yeah, well, I wasn’t sure how you’d feel being mine completely. No going back. You are more than just a sub - I can get quiet demanding.” His face was solid; his eyes staring into mine, waiting for me to answer, waiting for me to run.

“Yeah. I’m sure. Nothing can cause me to leave.” I smiled as the waitress returned with our food.

“Don’t be so sure about that.”

“Have you received a report from Mac yet?” I asked Kieran as I filtered into the office.

“No. He hasn’t checked in yet,” Kieran answered, looking up from his desk. The new client we had taken on as part of our private security branch had Mac completely booked, and losing his mind - at least, that’s what he told me.

“I’ll send him a message. I thought he’d enjoy having a socialite this time around.” We laughed as I typed out a quick message to Mac’s iPad.

“Hey, boss?” Kieran said as I took my seat at my desk.

“What’s up?” I answered back, booting up my computer.

“A woman called here earlier looking for you. She didn’t leave a name, but said you would know what ‘playground’ meant.” Kieran shrugged his shoulders and returned to his work. The computer monitors lined up behind his desk showed multiple feeds from the establishments that we monitored. Kieran turned his attention to them as I shook my own head.

Kelsey had called. Damn woman! Even after five years of being gone, she still had ways to fuck with me. It wasn’t like her to call, though. When I’d left, many years ago, I’d severed all ties - well most of them - from my old life. Too many memories that needed to be left behind. Too many things that I’d done that I didn’t want to face. One of them being her.

I thought about calling her back - the need to know why, after so many years, she would contact me had me worried. The only person besides her father that even had my contact information was Taylor - and as far as I knew, he wasn’t giving it up to her. Hell, it shouldn’t surprise me though that she’d found my number - her father is a very powerful businessman in London. I decided I would call her later. I pulled up my emails, and ran through a list of issues that needed to be handled relating to Devoured and another club that Lucas, Marcus and I owned - not to mention the fact that Kieran and I had three appointments today for security system inspections for other clubs.

Most of my work revolved around private security and state of the art security systems for local clubs and businesses. Mac now ran the private security portion of the business, employing an additional five bodyguards to work with or under him. Clientele primarily revolved around Boston socialites and celebrities when they needed support for events and such. Kieran and I oversaw the majority of the security system installs and inspections - including the special ops shit we still performed occasionally. Another side venture that kept me busy.

I looked down at my phone, hearing it buzz.

Are we okay? A text from Ally. Oh, Ally. It had been a few days since we’d had the conversation at the diner, and I had pulled away. Fuck if I know why, but I did. I was a douchebag for telling her that I wanted her as mine – completely, and then pretty much pulling away. I closed the text and threw my phone on the desk. I didn’t need to handle this shit right now. Hell, I didn’t even know what the fuck I wanted, or why I had even mentioned the ‘girlfriend’ comment. It wasn’t as if I didn’t want her - -the girl elicited feelings inside of me that I had buried for a long time - a very long time. Every time I looked at her, my body tightened at the thought of losing her. There was this overwhelming need to possess her, own her completely - protect her. And yet, I sit here now, ignoring her. What the fuck?

“Earth to Devlin.” Kieran’s voice pulled me from my thoughts.

“What’s up?” I responded, shaking the thoughts of Ally and me out of my head.

“Mac’s on line two for you.”

“Great. I’ll take it in the conference room.” I got up from my desk and headed into the room, sat down, and hit the speaker button on the polycom in the middle of the table.

  “Talk to me.”

“Hey, boss. Well, we have a piece of work over here - nothing I can’t handle, but she is not happy that her father thinks she needs a babysitter.”

I laughed. Great, another one of those. “I’m sure you are more than capable of handling her.”

“I am. Don’t worry. Just wanted to check in with you and let you know I’ll be away for the week.”

Mac and I talked for a few more minutes about the job, and what was going on for the week. I hung up the phone and returned to my desk. My cell phone had three more texts from Ally. I shot a quick reply back - Busy. We’ll talk later.

I had no intention of talking until I could figure out what the hell was going on in my head. The woman had me completely fucked up. As much as I wanted to ignore everything going on, my feelings, the other part of me wanted to pick her up from class, pull her body close to mine, and kiss her until I needed air. Then take her home and fuck her until the sun came up again. I shook my head and let out a sigh. Fuck, I hated feeling out of control.

I turned to Kieran. “Ready to go?” I shut down my computer, grabbed my phone and iPad, and waited for him to do the same. Three appointments and then, being it was Friday, we were required at Devoured. Not only was I partial owner of the club, I ran all of the security for the club, too - making sure my guys were there with me.

  “Yup, let’s go.”

The day passed quickly. The three inspections were scheduled for installs during the next week - should be enough to keep Kieran and Seth busy. Mac was with Jake and Tad in California, with our current client. Leaving me to sit with my thoughts.

I was at sitting at my desk at the club when Marcus walked into the office, followed by Lucas. They were discussing the recent delivery, and sat at their desks. They were both dressed in their black leather pants and tight black tee shirts, both of them sporting the gold band around their right arms, signifying their Master Dom status. Since I was working security tonight, and not the floor, I was in my black cargo pants and black tee shirt.

“Hey, Dev. What’s going on?” Marcus turned and acknowledged my presence.

“Nothing man. Just running through the guest list for the night. You?” Devoured had a strict member only policy when it came to nights we were open. However, members were allowed to bring guests although, all guests needed to provide picture identification and needed to have a basic background check ran prior to them being allowed into the building. When they arrived, we scanned their id into the computer system, and had them sign a release form at the entrance. Again, all this information was captured
within the computer system that I had installed a few years ago - updating technology as needed.

“Nothing? Lucas and I were discussing earlier about next month’s open night, and, of course, Emma’s collaring.”

I nodded at him. We had all been invited - a big ceremony for him and Emma, to show their commitment to one another. I, on the other hand, was not looking to collar a submissive - never had and, up until Ally, was pretty sure I didn’t want to. But she was changing all of that.

  “Where is your gorgeous sub?”

“With yours. Apparently, they are coming tonight.” Marcus turned to his computer and ran through some paperwork.

“Fuck.” It was the only word to slip out of my mouth. Usually, Ally didn’t attend the nights Emma did. I was really hoping not to see her tonight, especially since I had been brushing her off for the past few days.

“Everything alright?” Lucas chimed in. Normally the quiet one - when he spoke his voice demanded attention.

“Yeah. Just some shit, that’s all,” I answered as I hit the print button on the computer. “Listen, I’ll catch you both later. I have to go do the pre-opening meeting with the team.”

Both men nodded their heads as I walked out of the office. According to the schedule, Lucas, Marcus, Sarah, Seth, Cole and Bryan were on the floor tonight, as dungeon monitors. Kieran, Brendan, Brayden, and myself were on security detail. Nothing that we couldn’t handle - just check-in with the front door, and making sure guests abided by the rules. We primarily stayed out of the way unless the boys needed us.

I caught up with the boys in the lounge, and we ran through our pre-opening meeting and security checks. I was getting ready at the front door when Marcus came up.

“Hey. Emma told me that you’ve been ignoring Ally for a few days. What’s going on?”

“Just trying to wrap my head around a few things, that’s all.” I really didn’t want to talk to him about it, because part of me knew that I was being a complete dickhead.
